An informational seminar on estate planning is planned for 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 17, at Fairmount Homes Retirement Community in Ephrata. Jeff High, a Financial Advisor for Everence (formerly Mennonite Mutual Aid), will host the seminar, which will be held in the Crest View Gathering Room at 1100 Farm Crest Drive on the east side of Fairmount’s campus. The seminar is free and open to the public.
Presenters will include Timothy E. Shawaryn, Attorney with the law firm Gibbel Kraybill and Hess LLP, and Timothy Jantz, a Financial Advisor with Everence.
The seminar will focus on the importance of estate planning and explain the value of having the proper documents in place for the benefit of loved ones and charities.
